2024-04-29

Screen printing belongs to stencil printing, which includes mimeograph, stencil printing, spray painting, and screen printing. During printing, ink is squeezed through the mesh opening onto the substrate by the pressure of the squeegee. This makes screen printing suitable for a wide range of substrates, where anything except water and air (including other liquids and gases) can be used as a substrate, including paper, plastics, metals, ceramics, glass, and so on.

Screen printing has the following characteristics in terms of design:

Multiple types of ink can be used, such as oil-based, water-based, synthetic resin emulsion, powder, and other types of ink. Lijun Xin screen printing ink is reliable. Screen printing can not only be printed on flat surfaces, but can also be printed on curved or spherical surfaces. It is suitable not only for small objects, but also for larger objects. Screen printing has great flexibility and wide applicability. It can produce multicolor screen prints, but each screen plate can only print one color, so there needs to be at least as many screen plates as there are colors. Screen printing requires low printing pressure, making it suitable for printing on fragile objects.
