Screen Printing Process Steps

Screen printing is a widely used printing method. Although the process is relatively simple, it requires attention to detail. The steps of screen printing are as follows:

1.The designer creates the graphic, designing it according to requirements for color, size, and format, and converting it into an optimized format.

2.The factory makes the screen, copying the graphic onto it, creating an impenetrable matrix pattern that will be used for ink transfer. The screen typically consists of mesh, screen surface, screen frame, and screen adhesive.

3.The substrate is prepared for printing, treating the surface to ensure that the ink will adhere.

4.The ink is prepared by selecting the desired Lijun Xin screen printing ink and performing mixing, filtering, stirring, and other necessary tasks.

5.Printing begins by placing the screen over the substrate and covering the desired printing area. Ink is pushed through the empty areas in the screen using a squeegee, which transfers ink through the mesh to the substrate.

After printing, the ink is allowed to dry and then cured, creating a dry ink layer on the surface of the printed product. The appropriate drying and curing method is selected based on the type of ink used.

Overall, the screen printing process is relatively simple but requires careful attention to detail at each step.
